The art and science of a beautiful garden
skills of the trade

Some would say the perfect marriage is that of a Landscape Designer and a Stonemason.  Tom Mann began his career in stonemasonry while working alongside 'el maestro,' his father, Bob Mann.  From brick to granite to limestone, the skills of the trade have been passed from father to son both genetically and intuitively.  Works from the Mann family may be seen throughout the region, from the stately mountain hideaways of the Mountain Village to ranch homes on the mesas to historic buildings on Main Street in Telluride. Their work is perhaps best represented from within Allred's Restaurant; the graceful yet rustic stone arches, interior walls, and flagstone floors all speak to the experience and ability of these two modestly talented artisans.  Bob Mann is our hero!
